Day 1:Arrive Venice Day at Leisure

Meals: Dinner

After arriving in Venice, transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day is free to explore city on your own or opt for an optional gondola ride. A romantic promenade by gondola will take you along the canals of Venice. This is a fantastic opportunity to travel along the waterways of Venice looking up at the fabulous mediaeval palaces that line these historic thoroughfares and down to see their shimmering reflections dancing on the surface of the water. This cruise through the most secluded waterways of the city passing under small bridges will help you appreciate the beauty of this city. Later in the evening enjoy dinner at an Indian restaurant and return to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 2: Venice - Murano, Burano and Torcello tour.

Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

After breakfast, proceed towards Murano, Burano and Torcello. To enjoy this tour we need to reach Serenissima boat station. After sailing past the island of San Giorgio Maggiore, the Public Gardens, the tip of Sant Elena and the famous Lido beach resort, the boat arrives in Murano, known throughout the world for its glass manufacturing industry. Here we stop for around 40 minutes to visit one of the factories. The second stop is at the picturesque island of Burano, famous not only for its lace but also for the fishermen's houses painted in bright colours. The stop will last about 30 minutes. Then after a short cruise, we reach Torcello, the earliest centre of civilization in the estuary. Only the Cathedral with its magnificent mosaics and the church of Santa Fosca remain as testimony of its former glory. The stop will be for about 30 minutes then we return to St. Marks Square. Later in the evening enjoy dinner at an Indian restaurant and return to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 3: Venice - Milan

Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

After breakfast this morning, get transferred to Venice Station to board the train to Milan. On arrival in Milan, transfer to the hotel on your own. Rest of the day is at your disposal to explore Milan. Later in the evening enjoy dinner at an Indian restaurant and return to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 4: Milan - City tour of Milan

Meals: Breakfast,Dinner

After breakfast, enjoy the Milan city tour. After beginning the tour with a visit to the Scala museum and theatre we proceed with a stroll through the majestic Galleria Vittorio Emanuele (the world’s oldest arcade) reaching Piazza Fontana. We continue the tour on foot to view the Palazzo Reale and to visit the breathtaking Duomo and the courtyard of Milan’s magnificent Sforzesco Castle. The tour proceeds with a panoramic drive by coach past many of Milan’s most important sights including the Arco della Pace, the churches of Santa Maria delle Grazie (home to Leonardo da Vinci’s The Last Supper) and San Lorenzo, Corso Venezia and Piazza San Babila. Our final stop is to see Leonardo da Vinci’s great masterpiece - The Last Supper. Later in the evening enjoy dinner at an Indian restaurant and return to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 5 : Milan - Interlaken

Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

After breakfast, proceed toward Milan station to board train reaching Interlaken. Upon arrival in Interlaken, transfer to the hotel on your own. Later part of the day is free to explore Interlaken on your own. Later in the evening enjoy dinner at an Indian restaurant and return to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 6: Interlaken

Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

After breakfast, proceed towards an excursion to Jungfraujoch which is the lowest point on the mountain ridge between Monch and Jungfrau, at 3,471 meters (11,388 ft). It is just above this location that the mountain station of Jungfraubahn is located, Jungfraujoch railway station, which at an elevation of 3,454 meters (11,332 ft) is the highest railway station in Europe. The Jungfraujoch is often called the ‘Top of Europe’ in tourist literature. Later in the evening enjoy dinner at an Indian restaurant and return to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 7: Interlaken - Lucerne - (Golden panoramic route - Golden pass line)

Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

After breakfast, proceed towards Interlaken station on your own to board train reaching Lucerne. After at arriving Lucerne station transfer to hotel on your own. (Don’t forget to use your Swiss transfer card) Rest of the day is free to explore Lucerne on your own. Later in the evening enjoy dinner at an Indian restaurant and return to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 8: Lucerne - Mt.Pilatus

After breakfast, proceed for the excursion to Mt. Pilatus. There are several ways to ascend the mountain, which has a maximum elevation of 2,132 meters or 6,995 feet: By cogwheel railway: The world’s steepest rack railway climbs to Pilatus Kulm from Alpnachstad, which you can reach by boat, train, or road from Lucerne. By aerial cable car: From Kriens, a suburb of Lucerne, four-seat gondolas take you to the Frakmuntegg, where you transfer to a large cable car that whisks you to the summit station Later in the evening enjoy dinner at an Indian restaurant and return to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 9: Departure

After breakfast, check-out of your hotel and proceed towards final destination.

Often described as one of the most romantic cities in the world, Venice lives up to that appellation. However, this does not mean that the city is only for lovers. One the largest cities in Italy, Milan is in modern times considered to be one of the homes of fashion in the world. A picturesque tourist destination, Milan is an ancient city that once served as the capital of the mighty Roman Empire. You can still see the ruins of ancient Roman colonies, sprawled across the city. So, when in the city, apart from eating the great food and visiting the thousands of designer boutiques, you must also visit the third largest cathedral in the world, the Milan Cathedral, which is a superb example of Gothic architecture. Other monuments worth visiting include: the Basilica of Saint Lawrence, Castello Sforzesco - a castle originally built in the 14th century and now it houses renowned museums and art galleries of Milan, and the Teatro alla Scala - one of the world's most famous opera houses. The modern Pirelli Tower and Velasca Tower are also worth a visit.

Also pay a visit to Central Railway Station, which is a beautifully designed building, as well as San Siro Stadium, one of the biggest football stadiums of Europe. For shopping, do visit Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, which is known as world's oldest shopping mall, housing elegant shops selling almost everything from clothes to books. The shopping mall also has fine restaurants, bars and cafes, where you can savour local cuisine of Milan. You can also shop at Lombard Metropolis, which is popular for its fashion shops and houses.

Interlaken, a small town in the Bernese Highlands, is one of the most beautiful areas of Switzerland, and is easily accessible from both Zurich and Geneva.
