Day 1:India-Christchurch

Upon your arrival at the Christchurch Airport, you will be met by our local representative and transferred to your hotel by a private vehicle. In evening, enjoy dinner at Christchurch Tramway restaurant. It is a truly unique dining experience. Day 2: Christchurch - Dunedin

Meals: Breakfast

After having breakfast at your hotel, check out from your hotel. Travel south bound cross the Canterbury Plains and past Timaru then through the historic Victorian precint of Oamaru and Waitaki Valley to reach the Scottish influenced city of Dunedin. Check in to your hotel. Spend the night in the comfort of your hotel room in Dunedin.

Day 3: Dunedin - Queenstown

Meals: Breakfast

After having breakfast at your hotel. Proceed for a sightseeing tour of Dunedin city this morning. Later, in afternoon travel to Queenstown. The journey will start with a train through the Taieri Gorge to Pukerangi then continue by coach following old gold-mining trails. Arrive in Queenstown, check in to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Spend the night in the comfort of your hotel room in Queenstown.

Day 4: Queenstown-Milford Sound-Queenstown

Meals: Breakfast

After breakfast today, you will proceed on a full day tour of beautiful Milford Sound. You begin your tour following the southern arm of Lake Wakatipu to Lumsden, and onward to Lake Te Anau. Enter the Eglinton Valley and travel through the breath taking man made Homer Tunnel to reach Milford Sound. Enjoy a cruise on this world famous fiord, dominated by Mitre Peak and cascading Bowen Falls. After the cruise, your will travel back to Queenstown via the same route. Spend the night in the comfort of your hotel room in Queenstown.

Day 5: Queenstown

Meals: Breakfast

After having breakfast, enjoy a free day to explore the endless optional attractions available in Queenstown. You may do bungy jumping, jetboating, white water rafting, or enjoy a romantic dinner in Skyline gondola. Spend the night in the comfort of your hotel room in Queenstown.

Day 6: Queenstown - Glacier Region

Meals: Breakfast

After breakfast this morning, travel along the shores of Lakes Wanaka and Hawea to the Haast Pass. Continue up the West coast past spectacular mountain ranges, native forests and lakes to the glacier region of Franz Josef and Fox Glaciers. Spend a comfortable overnight at your hotel.

Day 7: Glacier Region - Christchurch

Meals: Breakfast

After having breakfast this morning, travel north to Grey mouth today and board the Tranz Alpine train. Ascend through lush beech forests past the alpine village of Arthur's Pass before crossing the spectacular Southern Alps. Travel over the Canterbury Plains to reach 'the garden city' of Christchurch. Spend a comfortable overnight in your hotel.

Day 8: Christchurch - India

Meals: Breakfast

After having breakfast at hotel. You will be transferred to Christchurch Airport in a private vehicle in time to board your onward flight. Farewell New Zealand!

Christchurch

Christchurch is perched on the coast of South Island, is the doorway to the various bounties of nature on the island, such as the Canterbury Plains. The city is best known for the Christchurch Cathedral, which stands in the heart of the city. You can climb its spire to get a stunning view of the city. The Cathedral Square is a lively spot, with various performances and open-air concerts. Also check out the Canterbury Museum, International Antarctic Centre, the superb Natural History Discovery Centre, and the quaintly Victorian Canterbury street.

Dunedin

Dunedin is the second-largest city on the South Island of New Zealand. Located on the central-eastern coast of Otago region, Dunedin has a harbour which is surrounded by volcanic hills. It's rich history, culture and geography has gained it the reputation of a major urban centre of New Zealand.

Founded by the Scottish Free Church in 1848, the city has been planned in such a way that it reminds of Edinburgh. The main city is built on a small area of flat land and is divided from its hilly suburbs by natural bush and parks. Thanks to its terrain, Dunedin has some of the steepest streets in the world, namely Baldwin Street. And to celebrate this, the residents hold a chocolate festival every year wherein they roll more than 15,000 jaffes down the Baldwin street!

Queenstown

Queenstown is a popular resort town in New Zealand's South Island. Built around an inlet of the bizarre lightning bolt shaped Lake Wakatipu, the town is a major hub for snow sports in New Zealand, with people from all over the world travelling to ski at the four main mountain ski fields: Cardrona Alpine Resort, Coronet Peak, The Remarkables and Treble Cone. Other forms of adventure tourism in the Adventure Capital of the World include jet boating, bungee jumping, mountain biking, tramping and fly fishing. Queenstown is also known for its vibrant nightlife, as well as wines and amazing food.
