Day 1: Arrival in Columbo | Transfer to Kandy

From the Colombo International Airport, move on to Kandy. En route, visit the heart-warming Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Kandy, the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings, is now a World Heritage Site. On reaching Kandy, drive around the Kandy Lake, built by the last Sinhala king Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe. Also visit the Kandy town and Bazaar, the arts & crafts center, gem museum, as well as a lapidary. In the evening, visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic. Then witness a cultural show featuring traditional Sri Lankan dancing. Stay overnight in Kandy.
Day 2: Kandy | Sightseeing tour
Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast, visit the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens. The gardens were first built as pleasure gardens by a Sinhala King and it was later expanded by the British. It is 147 acres in extent and provides an amazing variety of trees, plants and flowers. Spend the night in the comfort of your hotel room.
Day 3: Kandy - Nuwara Eliya (Tea Plantation Tour)

After breakfast, move on to Nuwara Eliya. En route, visit a tea plantation and a tea factory, Sri Lanka is where the best tea in the world is produced. After your tour, proceed to Nuwara Eliya, which, because of its invigorating mountain climate and scenery, is Sri Lanka's most popular hill resort. Sri Lanka's highest mountain Pidurutalagala (8,282 feet) is located here. Nuwara-Eliya also has one of the finest 18-hole golf courses in South Asia. Stay overnight in Nuwara Eliya
Day 4: Nuwara Eliya - Beruwala

Day 5: Beruwala - Colombo | Sightseeing tour

After breakfast, return to Colombo and enjoy touring the city. See places, such as Pettah Bazaar, a Hindu and a Buddhist Temple, affluent residential areas, Colombo Museum, and the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall. Return to your hotel after the tour.

After breakfast, move on to the airport to catch your flight back home.

People stand up on the raised sidewalk to let the elephants pass for their bath. It is amusing to watch the elephants run eagerly for a bath.
