As Port Blair is a small town, so you can take a leisurely walk and visit the important tourist attractions. While on Port Blair trip, visit the Cellular Jail also known as ?Kala Pani?. Built by British, the jail describes the sad story of the British government?s inhuman treatment towards the Indian freedom fighters. Everyday in the evening light and sound show is organised at the Cellular Jail, which shows inspiring stories related to Indian freedom struggle. Among the numerous museums in Port Blair, the most interesting museum is the Navy Museum that has a fine collection of coral reefs and shells. Close to the Navy Museum is the zoological park and mini zoo, where you can see various types of faunal species. Move ahead to see the Japanese Bunkers, erected by the Japanese army during the World War II. Also visit the Central Agricultural Research Institute (CARI), which houses various farms of cattle and poultry along with fisheries ponds.
