Set in the Kumaon foothills, Nainital is named after the Naini Devi Temple located on the northern shore of Naini Lake. The former summer retreat of the British, Nainital tours are a journey into the colonial heritage that is predominant in this beautiful hill station. The archetypal hill station, a Nainital trip comprises visiting its colonial structures, trekking up to the view points, a boat ride across the famous lake and a walk on the Mall. Nainital holiday packages also include day excursions to nearby getaways like Bhimtal, Sattal and Naukuchiatal. Thanks a lot for everything. My parent's trip was fabulous, they really enjoyed all the arrangements made by you and were really touched with the service extended by you before the trip and during the Trip. The hotels were good, however on few days the group in which with whom they had to travel was really bad.
Over all the Trip was fabulous. They are personally thankful to you for the extra ordinary efforts taken by you. They have in fact told me to specifically thank you and Make My Trip for taking extra care and for all the services extended to them during their trip. They have appreciated your efforts of calling them in Thailand and helping them out with the confusion of hotel bookings when they desperately needed your assistance. Thank you very much Noel for everything.
Thanks to Make My Trip for the wonderful tour.
I am really happy with the service provided by Make My Trip. I have not faced a single problem in my tour so really thanks to Make My Trip for taking so much care.
Also I would like to thank Saurabh for co-operating with me for selecting hotels. He has lots of patience and thanks to Jignesh.
Nainital Travel Packages - Sightseeing/Activities/Places of Interest
Nainital, like other Raj-era hill stations, has the typical colonial structures and Mall lined with quaint shops and tiny bakeries. Amongst the numerous churches, St. Johns in the Wilderness is definitely worth a visit. Another must visit during your Nainital holidays is Tiffin Top or Dorothys Seat on Ayarpatta hill. Just a 4km walk from the town centre, this viewpoint offers some splendid views of the countryside and is a preferred picnic spot for families. Surrounded by hills, Nainital tours are incomplete without a visit to the peaks around the town, with Naini Peak being the highest amongst them. Also known as China or Cheena peak, it is a 6 km walk from Mallital, the north end of town and is ideal as a short trek for those interested in walks and hikes. Another interesting site is Gurney House, once the residence of the renowned hunter and conservationist, Jim Corbett. The quaint colonial structure now houses a museum dedicated to him and is surrounded by beautiful pine, deodar and rhododendron trees. A Nainital trip is incomplete without a boat ride on the famous Naini Lake and a stroll down the Mall with a Tibetan market at one end of it. During your Nainital holiday, also visit other hill stations like Sattal, Bhimtal and Naukuchiatal.Nainital Packages - Best offers on Nainital Tours & travel packages at MakeMyTrip.
