Omkareshwara Temple: Located near to Madikeri, the temple is a small and beautiful medieval piece of architecture. It is built in the middle of a square lake that adds to the mystical aura.
Talakaveri: Visitors to Coorg shouldn’t miss the source of Kaveri river. Located 44 kms from Madikeri, the Talakaveri houses a beautiful temple of Lord Brahma, which is one among the few present in South Asia.
Nisargadhama: 28 kms away from Madikeri is a beautiful island on the river Kaveri. Nisargadhama can be strolled through by walking across a hanging bridge. The 64-acre island, with its thick bamboo groves, teak and sandalwood trees, holds interesting activities like water sports and elephant riding.
Wildlife Camps: Along the bank of Kaveri is the elephant camp, Dubare, where one can ride elephants, go for nature walks and trekking or indulge in rafting and fishing.
