Weather in Agra

Like most of the other cities of North India, the weather of Agra is tropical. Summers are extremely hot and temperature can go as high as 45 degree Celsius, while winters are cold and foggy at times. The city receives heavy rainfall during monsoons, making the city hot and humid.

Agra Cantt (Station code: AGC) is the prime railway station and situated southwest of Agra Fort and Taj Mahal, both of which are a short ride from station by auto-rickshaw or car.

Agra Fort Railway Station (Station Code: AGF) near Agra Fort, is one of the oldest railway stations of the country and very less serviced by inter-state express trains. This railway station serves to trains to central India and some destinations in east.

Then, there is Raja Ki Mandi, Agra City, Idgah, Yamuna Bridge and Billochpura, other small railway stations in Agra.
By Road

Idgah Bus Stand, Ford Depot, Taj Depot and ISBT (Inter State Bus Terminal) are the major Bus Stands of Agra, connecting to other major cities of North India. Important road distances from Agra are Delhi- 240 kms, Lucknow- 369 kms, Bharatpur- 57 kms, Nainital- 353 kms, Mathura- 54 kms, Varanasi- 605 kms, and Khajuraho- 400 kms.
