Description
This short trip to Nepal is all about explorations of a different kind. Katmandu, the capital city of Nepal and Chitwan, a national park famous for its elephants are two places we've included on this trip. From visiting the Pashupati Nath Temple and Gupteshwar caves to enjoying a jungle tour inside the Chitwan National Park, this is a trip you love to take. It's short but truly insightful. Enjoy!
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon arrival at Kathmandu Airport, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel. After sometime, go for a sightseeing tour of Pashupatinath, return to your hotel by evening and have a comfortable overnight.
Day 2: Kathmandu - Chitwan
Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast, drive to Chitwan. Chitwan is one of Asia's premier wildlife reserves. The 360 square miles of tall grasslands and forests is home to a wide variety of mammals and birds, including several endangered species. Enjoy a jungle tour at Chitwan National Park. Also experience walking through forests with a naturalist and watching native folk dances of the Terais. Stay overnight at your hotel.
Day 3: Chitwan / Pokhara (180 km / 4 - 5 hours)
Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast, drive to Pokhara. Enjoy the views of the 25,000 peaks of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges from Pokhara town (2,352 feet). On arrival, check-in into your hotel and after relaxing for a while, visit Bindebasini Temple Falls and Gupteshwar Cave. Thereafter, return back to your hotel, and have a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel in Pokhra.
Day 4: Pokhara/Kathmandu
Meals: Breakfast
In the morning after breakfast, go for an excursion trip to Sarangkot.The village of Sarangkot (1590 metres) is situated on top of a hillock just north of Phewa Lake. One gets to see beautiful views of sunrise and sunset from Sarangkot as the sun splashes hues of red on the Himalayan range. On a clear day, the panoramic ranges of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre and Ganesh Himal can be observed from here. Later, drive back to Kathmandu & transfer to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure followed by a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 5: Departure
Meals: Breakfast
After breakfast, go for sightseeing of Patan and Swayambunath, return back, check-out of the hotel and transfer to the airport to board a return flight.
