Day 01: Srinagar

Meet our representative upon arrival and take a transfer to the hotel. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure and enjoy the scenic view of mountain ranges around Dal Lake. Dinner & overnight stay in hotel.

Day 02: Srinagar - Local sightseeing (27 kms)

Meals: Breakfast

After breakfast, visit the famous Mughal Gardens, Cheshma Shahi (Royal Spring), Nishat Bagh(Garden of Pleasure), Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love) the Mughals laid out in the 16th century. These fall along the banks of the Dal Lake in the heart of Srinagar city & Shankaracharya Temple located on a hillock, thus providing a panoramic view of entire City, along with famous Dal Lake & River Jehlum, enroute visiting handloom centre famous for production of Pashmina/ shahtoos shawls & world over carpets. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 03: Srinagar-Sonamarg-Srinagar (174 kms)

Leave after breakfast for a full day excursion to Sonamarg - The Meadow of Golds.From Srinagar in the north-east of Srinagar at altitude of 3000 mts, above sea level. The place offers incredible Scenic beauty (while driving to Sonamarg) dense pine forests, Gigantic Mountains. The place itself is a popular resort for mountaineers, rock climbing, besides an important halt on way to Kargil (Ladakh) & provides the ideal base for various trekking routes, high mountains, lakes, glaciers & Shri Amarnath ji holy cave. Evening return back to hotel . Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 04: Srinagar-Pahalgam (96 kms)

Head to Pahalgam. On arrival check into your hotel. Leisurely spend your evening. Overnight stay at hotel

Day 05: Pahalgam-Gulmarg (148 kms)

Leave after breakfast for Gulmarg, which lies in the west of Srinagar at a distance of 56 kms. On an altitude of 2730 mts. above sea level, snow caped mountains are all around the place. You can even have a view of Nanga Parbat on a clear sunny day. It is one of the premiere winter sports Ski resorts for skiers with one of the world's highest 18 hole golf courses. For joy seekers, cable car upto Alpather via Kongdori by Asias longest run cable car ride approx. 5 kms. and altitude wise worlds highest run Cable Car conquering almost 14000 ft Height, return back to Hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Gulmarg.

Day 06: Gulmarg - Departure

Meals: Breakfast

After breakfast, enjoy your day till the time of departure transfer to Srinagar airport to board your scheduled flight for onward destination.

Srinagar

The picturesque Srinagar, the Summer Capital of Jammu and Kashmir, is a city of lakes and gardens. It possesses the quiet calm of someone who has seen too much of life. Since its history began - some date it back to the 3rd century BC-it has witnessed opulence and horror.

Urs at Sufi shrines revisit the saints' teachings on their death anniversary. Rozabal Shrine brings people to its door out of curiosity. It is said to be the tomb of Jesus Christ, a controversial claim. A Shiva temple on the Shankaracharya Hill is where Adi Shankaracharya meditated.

It is easy to forget the harsh reality in the enchanting gardens. The Mughal Gardens are like paradise recreated: Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh and Chashma Shahi Gardens. They are all designed to give you a magnificent view of Dal Lake.

Gulmarg

Gulmarg sizzles between the Pir Panjal range and Afarwat Hills in a world of white. The name Gulmarg speaks volumes about the hillside. Gul means flowers in Kashmiri, and the valley is a palette of colours through the year; bouncing buttercups, blushing tulips, cowslips and forget-me-nots carpet the town.

Frequented by great Mughal emperor Jehangir, the valley was first called Gaurimag by shepherds and later in the 16th century it was named Gulmarg by Kashmir King Sultan Yousuf Shah Chak. Such was the beauty and charm of the valley that Emperor Jehangir later visited and collected over 21 species of flowers from the valley. It was in 1927 after the coming of the British that Gulmarg started to develop into a beautiful hill resort. Let's take you to Gulmarg.
