"Location is very good, restaurant is fabulous with full sea view, food quality is okay. Service is good but lacks human touch in it. Rooms are fine although toilet was not clean and didn't have light when we checked in."

"Hotel Sonar Bangla is well situated just on the beach. Rooms are good but bathroom should be more clean. All items listed on the menu card is not available, and food quality is poor except Indian food. There must be some prawns or crabs menu. Otherwise it is good experience there. Stuffs are helpful n room service was good n satisfactory."

Mandarmoni is West Bengal's latest addition to the league of virgin beach destinations in India. Mandarmoni boasts of a 13 km long motor able beach, probably the longest motor able beach road in India. Teeming crabs crawl along the long virgin beach making it look like a simmering field of the red flower mandar. Years ago the resemblance ignited the imagination of the locals, they named it Mandarboni. In course of time it has become Mandarmoni. Besides that, enjoy sun and surf, pristine sea beach and untrammelled silt coloured sand, where you can sit and enjoy a sun bath.
Don't Miss
Digha and Shankarpur are two other beach destinations located close to Mandarmoni. Here, you can watch various birds play in the sky, while little waves wash the calm, clean beach, as a few fishermen do their daily duty noiselessly.
