"Excellent facilities. Good food. A bit costly but it is worth if you look into the standards and facilities. Very comfortable location for weekend breaks. Services should be more prompt. I just found a negative point - All the hotel staffs are handling/behaving with the guests based on their room tariff, in clear words, money spent by the tourists. Though nobody behave rude, but you can feel the clear distinction between budget/standard/luxury/cottage guests. I think, it can be managed in other ways."

Mandarmoni is West Bengal's latest addition to the league of virgin beach destinations in India. Mandarmoni boasts of a 13 km long motor able beach, probably the longest motor able beach road in India. Teeming crabs crawl along the long virgin beach making it look like a simmering field of the red flower mandar. Years ago the resemblance ignited the imagination of the locals, they named it Mandarboni. In course of time it has become Mandarmoni. Besides that, enjoy sun and surf, pristine sea beach and untrammelled silt coloured sand, where you can sit and enjoy a sun bath.
Don't Miss
Digha and Shankarpur are two other beach destinations located close to Mandarmoni. Here, you can watch various birds play in the sky, while little waves wash the calm, clean beach, as a few fishermen do their daily duty noiselessly. Also don't forget to relish the excellent fish delicacies that Bengal is so famous for and if you are lucky, you may actually get to select your favourite fish from the catch of the day.
