DAY 01: JAIPUR
On arrival at the Jaipur airport or railway station (on your own), check into your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure to explore this vibrant and colourful city.

DAY 02: JAIPUR
This morning, proceed on a visit to the Amber Fort. (Elephant ride or jeep ride on direct payment). Enroute enjoy a photo-stop at Hawa Mahal - the Palace of Wind. Later in the day, visit the City Palace and finally visit Jantar-Mantar, the observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh-II.

DAY 03: JAIPUR-BIKANER (310 KMS / APPROX. 7 HOURS DRIVE)
Enjoy a drive from the lush green Aravalli plains to the rugged desert city of Bikaner. Check into the hotel upon arrival. Spend the rest of the day is at leisure to relax or explore the bustling local markets.

DAY 04: BIKANER
This morning, visit the magnificent Junagarh Fort built of red sandstone. In the afternoon, enjoy an excursion to the famous Karni Mata Temple in Deshnoke, the only temple in India where rats are worshipped.

DAY 05: BIKANER - JAISALMER (335 KMS / APPROX. 7 HOURS DRIVE)
Continue your journey into the heart of the Thar Desert, to the citadel of Jaisalmer, where on arrival, you will check into your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 06: JAISALMER
This morning, visit the impregnable Jaisalmer Fort situated on top of the Trikuta Hill, enclosed by 99 bastions. In the evening, drive to Sam to visit the Sand Dunes.

DAY 07: JAISALMER - JODHPUR (325 KMS / APPROX. 7 HOUR DRIVE)
Drive to the Marwar capital city of Jodhpur, sprawled around the impressive cliff top Mehrangarh Fort. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. Spend the evening at leisure to explore the textile and antique markets.

The colourful city of Jodhpur revolves around the Rathore clan and is named after Rao Jodha, the chief of the Rathore clan. Set at the edge of the Thar desert, imperial city echoes with tales of antiquity in the emptiness of the desert. The graceful palaces, forts and temples strewn throughout the city bring alive the historic grandeur of this city. Lending a romantic aura to Jodhpur, are its exquisite handicrafts, folk dances, folk music and the brightly attired people.
Don't Miss Jodhpur is a storehouse of culture and history. It abounds in history and you will see numerous forts, palaces and beautiful lakes dot the city.
