| ITINERARY |

DAY 01: (NJP/ BAGDOGRA - KALIMPONG)
Upon arrival at NJP railway station/ Bagdogra Airport, take a transfer to Kalimpong (75 kms/ 3hours). Another quiet hill resort in eastern Himalaya, Kalimpong is famous for its orchids and nurseries and some of the some of the rarest cacti. Oak, Maple and Chestnut stretch up the ridge as far as the eye can reach. Check in at hotel for overnight stay.

DAY 02: (KALIMPONG SIGHTSEEING AND TRANSFER TO GANGTOK)
Go on a local sightseeing tour in and around Kalimpong covering Durpin Dhara, Zong Dog Palri Fo-Brong Monastery, Flower & Orchid Nurseries and the Kalimpong market. In the afternoon, take a transfer from Kalimpong to Gangtok (80 kms / 02 hours), at an altitude of 5500 ft. Gangtok is the capital of the state of Sikkim and is a beautiful and clean town promising of the best monasteries and landscapes. Spend the evening at leisure for individual activity and stay overnight at the hotel.

DAY 03: GANGTOK (EXCURSION TO TSOMGO LAKE)
In the morning, go on a half day trip to Tsomgo Lake (12400 ft), which is only 32 kms from Gangtok. The lake is almost about 1 km long, oval in shape and 15 metres deep and is considered sacred by the local people. Spend the evening shopping and indulging in individual activity.

DAY 04: GANGTOK TO DARJEELING
In the morning, take a transfer to Darjeeling (105 kms/ 4 hours), en route visit Teesta. Take a rest and then a walk around town to appreciate the new culture you are in. Overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 05: SIGHTSEEING IN DARJEELING
Early morning, start for Tiger Hill to watch the spectacular sunrise and its amazing effects on Mt. Kanchendzonga (world's 3rd highest peak). Visit Ghoom Monastery and Batashia Loop War Memorial while returning to the hotel. Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, followed by a half day local sightseeing tour covering Padmaja N. Zoological Garden (closed on Thursday), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursday), Tibetian Refugee Self-help Center (closed on Sunday) and a visit to the Mall and local market (closed on Thursday). Spend the evening at leisure for shopping and individual activity and then stay overnight at the hotel.

DAY 06: DARJEELING - BAGDOGRA AIRPORT/ NJP RAILWAY STATION
In the morning, take a tansfer to Bagdogra Airport/ NJP Railway Station (95 kms/ 3 hours).
