Mapple Bundela Tiger Retreat Kanha is located on the Banjar river close to Kisli Gate of Kanha National Park. The national park lies 160 km from Jabalpur (nearest railhead and airport), 213 km from Rajpur, and 270 km from Nagpur.

From the towering elephant to the magnificent tiger, Kanha is home to a plethora of animal species.

Don't Miss
Obviously, jungle safari is the thing to do here. Excursions are conducted in the morning as well as evening and can be booked at Kisli and Mukki. Spot tigers, leopards and a range of deer species; watch out for the Indian bison (Gaur) and three different species of vultures found here! You can also enjoy elephant rides and short treks in the area. The museum at Kanha remains closed on Wednesdays while the park itself is closed from July to mid-November.
