Hotel: Rajputana Resort
Situated in a peaceful area surrounded by trees, and yet near the city centre, The Rajputana Resort is beautiful and big. Built in a traditional Rajasthani style, it has domes, turrets and jharokhas all painted red, peppered through the rolling lawns and fountains. The hotel's by line is 'the royal retreat' and it lives up to the name. At the reception a giant cage has exotic, multi coloured birds, as well as an aquarium. The staff is attentive, without being intrusive and courteous.
Rajputana Resort has 54 rooms - 24 Deluxe rooms, 22 Suites and 8 Tents. The Suites are very large with a king size bed, chaise lounge, and study table. A pretty window seat overlooks the sprawling lawns. The wooden floor and a small crystal chandelier gives the room a luxurious look. Amenities include cable television, study table, min bar (chargeable), direct dial telephone. All the washrooms have bathtubs but a special mention must be made of the state of the art shower panel installed in all the rooms, with all sorts of knobs and controls. The washroom itself is spacious and clean, done in blue and grey. The Deluxe rooms are smaller than the Suites but still very spacious. Amenities include cable television, mini bar (chargeable), intercom, a divan with bolsters besides the double bed, a large mirror, chairs and a cupboard. There is seating arrangement in the corridor outside overlooking the lawns. The washrooms do not have a shower panel but a bath tub and all amenities present in Suite washrooms.
The tents are propped up on cement platforms that also works as a sit-out. Extremely spacious and comfortable, the tents have a gleaming, tiled floor and all amenities of Deluxe rooms. The washroom is contemporary and large, with a Jacuzzi-style bathtub.

"Resort is good but the room quality is not up to the mark. The worst part is location which is little off and in middle of a residential area which makes little difficult to access transport. The staff is very helpful and co-operarive and they are very prompt to address your complaints but I think managment has to be proactive to make sure there is no silly issues in the facility which a customer has to complain to them about."

"The staff is very good and the room is comfortable. The Indian breakfast of parathas that we had was delicious. They were the best parathas I had on our entire trip across North India. The downer was the condition of the toilet. They should really try using some harpic or other toilet cleaner fluid on the toilet bowl. It looks really filthy. Also, the general cleanliness has to be improved a little. Overall I would say that it is a nice place, but needs some attention to the toilets, since they are also part of the room."

"My requirement, travelling with wife, mother, brother and my kid (11 months). We were looking for something just right i.e not very hi-fi but decent. We needed clean washroom and a calm place Good point - * Pretty good and above average hotel * Very spacious room *Extremely courteous staff. I needed to visit kitchen frequently to prepare fresh food for my kid and the staff was very courteous even in the wee-hour * the breakfast was very-very good (alloo paratha were delicious) * they have cloak room. I had my train at 4 pm while the checkout was at 10 am. They kept my luggage while I roamed around. * The photos/videos uploaded in MakeMyTrip and the hotel website are not very different. Bad - * The food was little on expensive side. But I didn't have much issues with it * There was bad smell in my room (301). The smell went away on turning on the exhaust in washroom. The hotel staff gave me an option to change the room as well. But I stuck with it as it was not bad."

"The hotel is at a great location, about half a kilometer away from the main market. It is surrounded by greenery on all sides and provides a great view, at least in the weather that was there when we visited it on 15th August weekend. It has basic but clean rooms with very friendly staff. They offer very good/prompt room service as well as great food, though one has to give an order at least an hour earlier as food is cooked on order basis. Taxi/jeeps are easily available for the main market/Nakki Lake and the charges are Rs. 50 for one way trip to the market for the jeep (non-air conditioned) which can accommodate 6-8 persons comfortably. The hotel staff can call a taxi which arrived in 5-10 minutes. Overall, very satisfied with the hotel service and am happy that I booked at Rising Sun Retreat. It's value for money. The above rating is keeping in mind that it is a single star hotel."

"Hotel location is good but far away from Lake & main market. Hotel services are limited and food choice are very limited. Room condition is good. Only 2 AC rooms in the hotel. Hotel staff is very limited. Room service is not so good. Food and water are very costly. Rs.20 for Bisleri water and Rs.100 kadhi & kichdi. Every day spent Rs.50 one way hotel to lake or hotel to market. It's not like hotel or resort, it's like guest house."

"Hotel Rising Sun Retreat environment is very natural and condition is good. Staff is very homely but only thing is there is no restaurant so you have limited choice in food. Of course there is home made food available so you will enjoy a real home food taste if you like. Location of hotel is very comfortable. They have devloped a good natural park and very good peaceful atmosphere around the area. Bird watching with their voice music and good flower smell is a good nature experience."
