Casa De Goa comes as a highly recommended option if you want to be around but a little away from the hustle and bustle of north Goa, namely the Calangute and Baga areas. Situated in a lane next to the crossing of Calangute and Baga, the hotel comprises of two buildings that face each other across the street. The gates on both sides are painted in bright vermilion red in contrast to the hotels' sunshine yellow exteriors. On entering the main building, the bar and the open reception are on the left and the lounge on the right.
Rooms
Away from the lobby area is a mango-shaped swimming pool with sun beds and pool chairs and blocks of rooms arced classily around them. "Location of the hotel is just great, very close to the all main beaches in North Goa and close to all the fun and action at evenings. Most of the famous eating places of Calangute are at a walkable distance. Hotel building has nice architecture and is maintained well. Hotel has a nice small swimming pool which is great to relax in the noon time. The restaurant is small and is in the main reception area. If you get a room close to it there might face some disturbance. The hotel chef is good and has a good menu in place and is enjoyable. The hotel does not have central water heaters and rooms are fitted with individual heaters. So hot water may not be available on tap, but that's hardly an issue in Goa."

"Cons: Hotel rooms are pathetic, we had a bed in which two mattresses were joined to form a bigger one!, It was hard to revisit the washroom after a single visit as the exhaust was not working, they had disconnected it on purpose. Room service is not fast enough. I was not able to regulate the temperature of the air-conditoner ( I almost kept it off , as it was set to hell lower temperature), same goes with the fan! whatÃâs wrong with these guys. Food is very expensive, I havenÃât seen a place charging over 200 INR just for some petty south Indian snacks which are available for 1/10 of the price dosa / upma. In addition to this they charge 18% room service charges , which I felt was really exorbitant as already booking any room in this hotel doesnÃât come cheap. It just feels they want to overcharge the foreigners staying there. Pros: The only good part in this hotel was the swimming pool. Recommendation : I wont recommend this hotel to anyone, watch out!"
