ITINERARY

DAY 01: PATHANKOT/ CHAKKI BANK - DALHOUSIE (80 KMS/ 4 HOURS)

On arrival at Pathankot/ Chakki Bank, take a transfer to Dalhousie. On arrival, check in to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 02: DALHOUSIE

After breakfast, go on a full day sightseeing tour visiting Panchpula, Subash Baoli, Bara Pathar, St. John's church and Bakrota Hills. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 03: DALHOUSIE - KHAJJIAR (22 KMS)

After breakfast, take a transfer to Khajjiar (mini Switzerland). On arrival, check in to the hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 04: DEPARTURE (100 KMS/ 5 HOURS)

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and proceed to Pathankot for onward journey.

Khajjiar is enveloped in a beautiful wilderness with deodar trees offering a closure from the rest of the world. The place is surrounded with undisturbed greenery, alternated with a few rural villages and a huge lake. Khajjiar is the best place to visit for a day and an ideal getaway from the mundane life.

Mystique surrounds Khajjiar - it is omnipresent in the stunning Barakota hills, the Lakkar Mandi or the Panch Pandav - a tree whose root is divided into six parts. The locals believe that these six shoots represent five Pandvas and their common wife Draupadi. Khajjiar Lake has its own story to tell. Legend goes that goddess Khajjinag is enshrined in the temple here.
