DAY 01: PATHANKOT/ CHAKKI BANK - DALHOUSIE (80 KMS/ 4 HOURS)

On arrival at Pathankot/ Chakki Bank, take a transfer to Dalhousie. On arrival, check in to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast, go on a full day sightseeing tour visiting Panchpula, Subash Baoli, Bara Pathar, St. John's Church and Bakrota Hills. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 03: DALHOUSIE - KHAJJIAR (22 KMS)

After breakfast, take a transfer to Khajjiar (mini Switzerland). On arrival, check in to the hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 04: KHAJJIAR - DHARAMSHALA (150 KMS/ 4 HOURS)

After breakfast, drive to Dharamshala, where His Holiness Dalai Lama lives in exile. On arrival, take a transfer to the hotel. Spend the afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

In the morning, go on a half day tour of Dharamshala visiting The Tibetan Medical Centre, Church of St. John and local monasteries. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

SAGRIKA RESORT

City: Dalhousie

The Sagrika Resort is a 16 year old massive building located at the end of a flight of stairs. A splendid garden precedes the building with a separate reception block. The building has a rustic air about it and this reflects in the small yet cosy rooms too.

Rooms
Sagrika Resort has a total of 16 rooms divided into Deluxe rooms, Superior Deluxe rooms and Suites. The Deluxe room is compact but neatly arranged and though the room looks a little cramped, the personalised decor makes up for all the misgivings. The facilities in this room include satellite television, telephone, sofa chairs for seating, luggage rack and cupboard. The attached bathroom has a shower area and amenities like geyser, soap, shampoo, towels, bathroom slippers and toilet paper. The Superior Deluxe room is exactly the same as the Deluxe room in terms of size and amenities and has an additional bathtub in the bathroom. The topmost floor of the building houses the Suite room(s) and has an all wood decor. The ceiling is designer - has slant panes and the walls are also wooden. The Suite has a tree house/ hut like appeal and looks very cute. The floor is carpeted here and has an interesting cupboard style. There are 3 cabinets all of varying sizes to store shoes and clothes separately. This has been created in sync with the slanting ceiling - a good creative attempt. Facilities in the Suite includes satellite television, intercom, dressing table and an attached bathroom with a bathtub with running hot and cold water supply and amenities like soap, shampoo, towels, bathroom slippers and toilet paper. During winters, the hotel also provides heaters inside the rooms at an additional charge.

Dining
The beautiful manicured lawn is the only natural place to enjoy meals here. There are garden chairs and tables and umbrellas in the lawn for the guests to enjoy a delicious fare of Indian, Chinese and Continental meals. Besides this, the hotel offers room service till midnight.
