ITINERARY

DAY 01: DELHI - PARWANOO (280 KMS/ 7 HOURS)

On arrival at Delhi Airport/ railway station, proceed to Parwanoo. Enroute, stop by Chandigarh to see the Rock Garden. Go on a sightseeing tour to Pinjore - Yadavindra Garden including visits to Shish Mahal, Rang Mahal & Jal Mahal . Spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Parwanoo.

DAY 02: PARWANOO - SHIMLA (70 KMS / 3 HOURS)

In the morning, drive to Shimla, a 3 hours drive. Shimla is perched at 7000 feet above sea level. The heady combinations of chilly mountain air, orchards and colonial charms makes Shimla a dream get-away. Upon arrival, check-in to your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 03: SHIMLA - KUFRI - SHIMLA

After breakfast, proceed on a city tour including Kalabadevi Temple, Jakhu Temple, Hanuman Temple or stop for a while and gaze at the beautifully stained glass - windows of the Christ Church. In the afternoon, go on an excursion to Kufri, a 30 minutes drive from Shimla. Kufri is nature's exotica surrounded by dense forest and snow capped mountains amidst virgin peaks and flora and fauna. Spend the evening at leisure to enjoy the scenic beauty of Kufri. Overnight stay at hotel in Shimla.

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and proceed to Delhi for onward journey.

Once a sleepy but beautiful village at the foothills of the Himalayas, Parwanoo has numerous apple orchards. It acts acts as a base to visit the nearby attractions of Pinjore, Kalka and Kasauli.

Ten kilometres away from Parwanoo, Pinjore houses the famous Yadavindra Gardens. Abounding in terraces as well as Mughal and Rajasthani style architecture, the gardens are adorned with colourful fountains and water cascades.

Approach Shimla by the toy train, running on the narrow gauge railway track, connecting Shimla to Kalka. This quaint train winds around the hills, going over bridges and through 103 tunnels, chug-chugging its way slowly up the mountains. See lush greenery, dense forests and terrace farms on the way.
