DAY 01: COCHIN - MUNNAR

On arrival in Cochin received at the airport and proceed to Munnar. On arrival, transfer to hotel. This hill station of Kerala is famous for its Tea Garden estates. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel in Munnar.

DAY 02: MUNNAR

After breakfast proceed for half day sightseeing tour of Munnar. After noon at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel in Munnar.

DAY 03: MUNNAR - THEKKADY

After breakfast drive through spice gardens to Thekkady. On arrival in Thekkady Check in to hotel. Rest of the day at disposal to explore the surroundings by owns. Overnight stay at hotel in Thekkady.

DAY 04: THEKKADY

After breakfast, you may visit Spices plantations. Enjoy a boat ride on Periyar lake inside Periyar wildlife sanctuary. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Thekkady.

DAY 5: THEKKADY-KUMARAKOM (135 KMS/ 4 HRS)

After breakfast at hotel, drive to Kumarakom. Check into the hotel on arrival. After lunch at the hotel, enjoy rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 6: KUMARAKOM

Breakfast at hotel. Enjoy the day at leisure for independent activities. Lunch will be served at the hotel. Enjoy a sunset cruise on Vembanad Lake in the evening (sunset cruise charges are included in the package). Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 7: KUMARAKOM-COCHIN (60 KMS | 2 HRS)

After breakfast at hotel, drive to Cochin. Check into the hotel on arrival. Enjoy lunch at the hotel. At 1430 hrs, proceed for half day sightseeing tour of Cochin. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

MUNNAR

Munnar wins you over with its tea, pepper, coffee and cardamom estates. The tea gardens run down rolling slopes, covering them in a blanket of effervescent green. Ana Mudi, the highest peak in South India, flanks the town. Visit Eravikulam National Park to spot some beautiful flora and fauna, including the Tahr, an endangered species of mountain goats, as well as langurs and sambars.

The most popular amongst all the festivals of Munnar remains the Nehru Trophy Boat Race held in the month of August. Pavilions are set up for the spectators on the banks and in the middle of Punnamada Lake the venue of the race. There are separate races for women and the race begins with a colorful pageant of floats performing arts and decorated boats and goes on late into the evening.

THEKKADY

Watch wildlife at close quarters in Thekkady. The picturesque Periyar wildlife sanctuary abounds with verdant backwoods, aromatic spice plantations and rolling coffee slopes. The landscape is peppered with hills and offers beautiful treks. Tigers, elephants, deer, Asiatic wild elephants and the distinctive Nilgiri langur are found here.

People usually say 'Kerala' and 'Backwaters' in one breath. Kumarakom is one of the most visited backwater destinations. The verdant backwaters comprise a confusing maze of inland waterways flanked by the famous verdant greenery.
