The Silver Sands Beach Resort is a bluish grey building at the mouth of the Colva beach in south Goa. The reception cum lobby area wears a very 70's look and has red velvet sofas, ornate lamp holders and a granite reception counter. Strong smell of rose water inhabits the air. Guests can watch the bustling life through a glass wall that divides the main road from the hotel. A small lawn just outside the hotel has chairs and tables for guests to enjoy their evening tea.

Rooms
The hotel has 70 rooms in all divided into 49 Standard rooms, 3 Suites and 16 Superior rooms. The rooms are categorised as per the view each room offers. The Standard room offers a view of the surrounding area, the Superior room offers a swimming pool view and the Suite room offers sea view. All the rooms are huge with a living area and a bed area. The Superior room is huge and has big furniture and is sumptuously furnished with double bed, 2 sofa chairs, air conditioner, study table, wall unit, satellite television, mini bar and telephone. The room has an attached bathroom with hot and cold water supply and amenities such as hair dryer, soap, shampoo and towels. The Standard room is similar to the Superior room with the same facilities as well. The decor here is different though and offers a partial view of the sea. The bathroom is spacious and offers hot and cold water supply and amenities such as hair dryer, soap, shampoo and towels. The Suite room is bigger than the rest of the rooms and offers direct view of the sea and the main road. The facilities and amenities remain the same.

Dining
Silver Sands Beach Resort has its own multi cuisine restaurant on the first floor. The restaurant has glass windows to let natural sunlight pour in. The restaurant is neat with orderly arrangement of tables and chairs in groups of 4 and 8. The bar counter is located on the left hand side of the restaurant and is well stocked with Indian and foreign liquors. The restaurant also has a small room at the far end for private parties. There are tables and chairs neatly arranged on the balcony, in an alfresco seating style for those guests who want to enjoy the balmy weather and the sea.

Facilities
The hotel has a huge swimming pool with deck chairs placed around it. Just next to the pool lie the Ayurvedic Massage Centre and a beauty salon. The hotel also has a conference hall with a seating arrangement of 70 people. Secretarial service can be availed on request. Other hotel facilities include laundry service, dry cleaning service, travel assistance, lockers, foreign exchange counter, internet facilities and tattoo making facility during season time.

The Silver Sands Beach Resort is located at Colva in south Goa. The beach is located with 5 minutes walk from the hotel, while the Dabolim airport is 22 kilometres away and Madgaon railway station 8 kilometres away.
