ITINERARY

DAY 1: BAGDOGRA / NEW JALPAIGURI - DARJEELING (93 KMS/APPROX: 3.5 HRS)

On arrival at the Bagdogra airport or New Jalpaiguri railway station (on your own), and drive to Darjeeling on arrival you will check in to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for shopping.

DAY 2: DARJEELING

This morning (around 4 am), you will drive to Tiger Hill to witness the sunrise over the fabulous views of the famous Mt.Kanchendzonga (28,208 ft) (subject to clear weather conditions). Later visit Ghoom Monastery and other places of interest. Enjoy the evening at leisure.

DAY 3: DARJEELING - PEMAYANGTSE (75 KMS/APPROX: 3.5 HRS)

This morning you drive to the Pemayangtse via Pemayangtse Monastery, Arrive in to where you will check in to your hotel.

DAY 4: PEMAYANGTSE

Today you will proceed on a half day sightseeing tour including a visit to the Khecheopalri Lake.

DAY 5: PEMAYANGTSE - GANGTOK (117 KMS/APPROX: 4 HRS)

Today take picturesque drive to Gangtok, enroute visiting the Rumtek Monastery, where on arrival you will check in to your hotel. Enjoy rest of the afternoon at leisure.

DAY 6: GANGTOK: EXCURSION TO TSHANGU LAKE

Today you proceed for a half day excursion to Tshangu Lake. Enjoy Yak ride around the Lake (on direct on payment). Return to Gangtok. Rest of the day at leisure

DAY 7: GANGTOK

Proceed on a city tour visiting Do Drul Chorten, the Enchey Monastery and the marvelous collection of orchids in the Orchid Sanctuary.

DAY 8: GANGTOK - KALIMPONG (77 KMS/APPROX: 3 HRS)

Drive to Kalimpong, on arrival transfer to hotel, afternoon half day city tour.

DAY 9: KALIMPONG - BAGDOGRA / NEW JALPAIGURI (80 KMS/APPROX: 3.5 HRS)

Today you are transferred to Bagdogra airport or New Jalpaiguri railway station for your onward journey.

PELLING

Pelling, a quiet village in West Sikkim is situated close to the famous Pemayangtse Monastery, built in 18th century AD. Pelling is nature's wonder - enjoy astounding views of Mt. Kanchenjunga, go on treks in the woods, sit by the river or enjoy a plate of setaming momos.

Pelling's ethereal scenic landscape cannot be justified through photographs or literature - you have to experience it to believe it. Visit the Khachoed - Palri Lake which, though surrounded by a dense forest, is believed to be so clean that even if a leaf falls in it, a small bird comes to pick it up! Stand under the Rimbi Waterfalls; tread on the Singshore Bridge, the second largest gorge bridge in Asia or visit the ruins of Rabdantse Palace - every moment spent here is priceless.

DARJEELING
