DAY-01 BAGDOGRA / NEW JALPAIGURI - DARJEELING
Arrive at Bagdogra airport / New Jalpaiguri railway station and take a transfer to Darjeeling (95 kms/ 3 hrs). Once the summer capital of India, Darjeeling is a land of infinite variety and charm. It will offer you a mixed experience of lively natured and charming Himalayan people. It is the place of Dorje, the mystic thunderbolt of the Lama-religion. Surrounded by tea gardens, this little town has some of the highest peaks of the Himalayas. After a rest, take a walk around the town to appreciate the new culture you are in. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY-02 DARJEELING SIGHTSEEING 04 04 HRS
Early in the morning, go to Tiger Hills to watch the spectacular sunrise and its amazing effects on the Mt. Kanchendzonga (world's 3rd highest peak). Also visit Ghoom Monastery and Batashia Loop War Memorial while returning to the hotel. Enjoy breakfast at the hotel followed by a half day local sightseeing trip covering Padmaja N. Zoological Garden (closed on Thursday), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursday), Tibetian Refugee Self-help Centre (closed on Sunday) and the Mall and local market (closed on Thursday). Spend the evening at leisure shopping or doing some individual activity. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY-03 DARJEELING TO GANGTOK
In the morning, take a transfer to Gangtok (105 kms/ 4 hrs). En route, see the Teesta River. Situated at an altitude of 5500 ft, Gangtok is the capital of the state of Sikkim and is a beautiful and clean town promising the best monasteries and landscapes. Enjoy the evening by yourself and spend it at leisure. Stay overnight at hotel.

DAY-04 EXCURSION TRIP TO TSOMGO LAKE
Go on a half day trip to Tsomgo Lake (12400ft), which is only 32 kms from Gangtok. The lake is almost 1 km long, oval in shape and 15 mtrs deep. The lake is considered sacred by the local people. Spend the evening at leisure at Gangtok for shopping and individual activity.

DAY-05 GANGTOK - BAGDOGRA / NEW JALPAIGURI
In the morning, take a transfer to Bagdogra airport / New Jalpaiguri railway station (115 km/ 5 hrs) for onward journey. End of tour.
