| ITINERARY |

DAY-01 (BAGDOGRA / NEW JALPAIGURI - GANGTOK).
Arrive at Bagdogra Airport /New Jalpaiguri railway station and take a transfer to Gangtok (114 kms/ 4.5 hrs). Located at an altitude of 5500 ft, Gangtok is the capital of the state of Sikkim and is a beautiful and clean town promising of the best monasteries and landscapes. Spend the evening by yourself for individual activity and leisure. Stay overnight at hotel.

DAY-02 GANGTOK SIGHTSEEING
Early in the morning, go on a full day sightseeing trip around the capital city of Sikkim, covering Tashi View Point, Ganesh Tak, Hunuman Tak, Chortan, Stupa, Institute of Tibetology (closed on Sunday), Institute of Handicrafts and Handlooms (closed on Sunday) and Roomtek Monastery & Dharma Chakra Centre (24 kms/45 mins), the sect of the Kagyu order - one of the 4 major Tibetan Buddhist Sect (24 kms/ 45 mins).

DAY-03 (EXCURSION TRIP TO TSOMGO LAKE & BABA MANDIR).
Go on a half day trip to Tsangmo lake (12400 ft), which is only 32 kms from Gangtok. The lake is almost 1 km long, oval in shape and 15 mtrs deep. The lake is considered sacred by the local people. Further 12 kms down, visit the Baba Harvajan Singh Mandir. Spend the evening at leisure at Gangtok for shopping and individual activity.

DAY-04 (GANGTOK, BAGDOGRA / NEW JALPAIGURI ).
In the morning, take a transfer to Bagdogra Airport / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (114 kms/ 4.5 hrs) for onward journey. End of tour.
