On 7th Dec 2005 Indian Airlines on Wednesday gave itself a makeover by taking a new name and logo, a sign of the changing times, besides inducting its first new aircraft in 11 years.
Indian Airlines has reduced the age limit for female passengers, eligible for the senior citizens' discount from 65 years to 63 years. The fare for senior citizens is 50 per cent of the basic fare.
