Kankaria Lake

Teen Darwaza

Navrangpura is an area with various tourist attractions including the Gujarat Tribal Museum, Usmanpura Garden and Saiyad Usman Mosque. The High Court and Income Tax Office are also housed here.

Swaminarayan Temple

Built in the 1800’s, this is the first of the Swaminarayan temples in India. A gaily painted façade, courtyard surrounded by carved balconies and galleries, glittering idols and gild doors are its highlights. It also has a unique octagonal dome.
