Rooms
67 rooms in the hotel are divided into categories of Executive, Superior and Suite. Executive is the base category of rooms and amenities here include a sleek writing table, cosy couch, a 39\" flat-screen television, direct dial telephone, tea/coffee maker, Wi-Fi connectivity, mini bar, cigarette and snack basket, electronic locker and key. The washroom amenities include soap, shampoo, dental kit, shaving kit, moisturiser, hair dryer, telephone, weighing machine, bathrobe and shaving mirror. The rooms are laid out with thick carpets and are plush in their decor.

The Suites are spacious and very contemporary with wooden flooring and black and white decor. As you enter here is a small lobby with chairs and a wooden partition that leads you to a bigger space with couches, writing table and television. The bedroom has a telephone, a four poster bed, another television, and all other facilities present in Executive rooms. The washroom is funky with a bathtub as well as a shower cubicle. Washroom amenities here remain the same as those in Executive rooms.

Dining & Facilities
With a history that goes back 40 years, Hotel Shalimar is popular among the local residents for its restaurant, Gulmarg, which serves delectable multi cuisine fare. The lunch buffet timings are 1 pm to 3 pm and the restaurant is open 24-hours on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Smooth is the hotel's bar with cushy sofa chairs and the ambience of a British pub. The pub frequently organises food festivals, gazal nights and other such events. The Bakery is the patisserie with a scrumptious array of desserts, bakes, cakes and more. (Timing: 9 am to 9 pm). The Sandwich Bar is another innovative concept which serves made-to-order sandwiches for you.

With three conference halls - Regent South, Regent Central and Regent North - each divided by a partition, and each with a capacity of 20 people, Hotel Shalimar is well equipped for conferences and parties. All conference equipment is provided at an extra charge.

Hotel Shalimar is located in the posh area of Kemp's Corner in South Bombay. Famous Bombay landmarks such as the Gateway of India and Marine Drive are about 20 minutes away while the business districts of Nariman Point, Ballard Estate and The World Trade Centre are in close vicinity too.
