Located on the main road leading to McLeodganj, Hotel Pong View lies just half a kilometre from Dharamshala. It is 45 minute drive from Gaggal Airport.

The rooms are categorised as Standard, Semi Deluxe, Deluxe and Super Deluxe. While Deluxe and Super Deluxe rooms are newly built and are in the new wing, Standard and Semi Deluxe rooms are in the old wing of the hotel and are approachable by 30 stairs from the hotel reception. The rooms are spacious and have large windows that offer a splendid view of the Pong reservoir. Each room is well furnished and features wall to wall carpeting, colour television with satellite channels, telephone and attached washroom.

Kangra Airport (10 Km)

Gaggal Airport, is also known as Kangra Airport. It is located in Gaggal near Kangra, which is 22 km from Mcleodganj. The airport is at an elevation of 770 m, and receives flights from Air Deccan, MDLR Airlines, and Jagson Airlines, among others.

Bus Station (2 Km)

The main bus terminal is located in Lower Dharamsala. Many private buses, as well as government HRTC buses, are available for travel to and fro from Manali, Kangra, Mandi, and Delhi. It is approximately 9 km from Lower Dharamshala to Mcleodganj.

Kangra Railway Station (20 Km)

Kangra Railway Station is situated 3 km south of Kangra, and 15 km from Lower Dharamshala. It is served by the narrow gauge Kangra Valley Railways. It is well connected with Pathankot and Jogindernagar Railway Station.
