Location
Located in Bhagsu, Hotel Anand Palace lies within walking distance of the Bhagsunag Temple and the waterfall. It is a kilometre and a half away from McLeodganj Bus Stand and 9 kms away from the main bus stand in Lower Dharamshala. It provides easy access to all places of tourist interest in and around McLeodganj and Dharamshala.

A part of the renowned Best Western Group, Hotel Anand Palace is a three storey structure that stands tall on the slopes above Bhagsunath Temple in Upper Dharamshala. Its parent company, Best Western has a government approved three star rating, which reflects in the facilities and service offered at the hotel.

Its elegantly furnished lobby and reception lie on the first floor, right above the covered parking area on the ground floor. A flight of stairs lead up from the parking area to the reception, which is flanked by the lobby and restaurant on either side. A newly built property, it offers breathtaking views of the snow capped mountains in the backdrop.

Rooms
The hotel has 32 spacious and well furnished rooms that are divided into 11 Standard rooms, 14 Standard Bonanza rooms, 5 Deluxe Suites and 2 Family suites. Of these, 6 rooms are non smoking. Each room is carpeted and equipped with a cable television, direct dial telephone, chairs with center table, full length mirror, data port connection and cupboard. Large windows and individual balconies provide a splendid view of either the valley on one side or the mountains on the other side.

In addition to other amenities, the Standard Bonanza rooms have a study table while Deluxe Suites have a safety deposit locker and a dressing table. The Family Suites are larger in size and have twin beds besides a master double bed. Each room has an attached washroom that is appointed with soap, shampoo, linen, gargle glass and a geyser. Washrooms in the Suites have bathtubs while those in Standard Bonanza rooms have enclosed shower areas.

Dining
The hotel's restaurant, Samrat offers a multi cuisine fare between 7 am and 10:30 pm. With a seating capacity of 45 persons, it serves Indian, Continental and Chinese cuisine. While timings are fixed for breakfast (7 am - 10:30 am), lunch (12:30 pm - 2:30 pm) and dinner (7 pm - 10:30 pm), snacks & beverages are served throughout the day. There is also the Terrace Grill, an open air dining outlet where guests can enjoy a splendid view besides delectable snacks. Select snacks and beverages are available at all times through 24 hour room service.

Services & Facilities
Hotel Anand Palace offers conference/banquet facilities in two well equipped conference halls, Aakash and Divya, each of which has a seating capacity of 80 in a U shape arrangement and 110 guests in a theatre style arrangement.
