Megapode Resort is located 4 km from the airport in Port Blair, on top of a hillock overlooking the sea and harbour.

The hotel has 20 Standard rooms, 4 Deluxe rooms and 4 Cottages built in traditional Nicobar-hut style. All rooms are air conditioned and appointed with facilities such as intercom and television. In addition, the Deluxe rooms and the cottages have refrigerators and an attached balcony. The en suite washrooms in Deluxe rooms are fitted with shower cubicles, while those in the cottages have bath tubs. The cottages have a thatched roof and overlook the sea.
