Location is excellent right on the beach. The beach is beautiful and great for swimming. The atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. Service was a bit slow in the restaurant. The food was expensive and not much tasty. There was limited food choice and hardly any Kerala food which we were hoping to taste.

Excellently located traditional Kerala style hotel immediately adjacent to a private beach and the sea. Private peaceful garden with ample hammocks, swings, sun beds, some in shade some in sun we could have sat there all day. Very good service but restaurant offered a somewhat restricted menu (perhaps because it was out of season) and slightly pricey food. (We had a full buffet at Arcadia Regency one night for Rs.150, the same price as a simple meal here). The hotel doesn't have many frills, but then it is 2 star (though some websites say 3 star); but it was very good value for money, especially in the non-AC rooms which are high ceilinged with excellent fans. AC rooms are a bit pricey by comparison. All rooms have a sea-view. First floor rooms have large terrace. We would definitely return!
